Thunderclan, Riverclan, Windclan, and Shadowclan are foced to embark on another perilous journey, without guides or waypoints. With a temporary truce, the four original clans divide their journey into shifts for hunting and resting, bonding along the way and even accepting rogues into their ranks. Some of the leadership positions crumble under the stress, leading to unrest and doubt. Many do not make it to the end. After weeks of searching, they find a suitable home and decide to split once more, each clan voting for their new clan and leadership. Dawnclan, Sunclan, Duskclan, and Moonclan, the journeys' shifts, emerge from this, but tensions arise. Some question the loyalty of those who left their original clans, while the new borders test relationships of those that stayed. Meanwhile, outsiders observe with curiosity or concern. Loners and rogues might resent the clans for claiming territory, while nearby kittypets wonder about their intentions. As the clans adapt to their new home, they face many strange and new dangers. The twolegs now have weakened resistance to the mutations that the meteor crash brought forth, acting aggressive towards everything. It appears in some cases that they have even mutated into mindless, corrupt beings... When a talking, sentient space creature warned the cats of greater dangers approaching, GladeClan visited the commanders' dreams and had them gather their clans for a meeting. At the Gathering, they agreed to put their tensions aside so they can stand together against these upcoming threats. Not only are there more dangers approaching, but it seems as though the world has been thrown further out of balance, with strange weather patterns and new diseases. Many cats have lived and died of old age in the time of peace. Until one night, StarClan spoke about a great evil, like a dark storm cloud looming over the horizon.
