Humans can use qi for a great deal of things, but in today's day and age, the biggest use for it is hunting down stray demons. Humans used qi in creative ways, some could create fire out of it, others heal wounds, some increase their physical capabilities. Its usages are countless. Despite every human now having a bit of demon blood in their body, there are certain individuals, usually offspring of stronger demons, who harness an interesting trait- **An infernal engine.** Infernal engines are purest of demonic essence, this trait makes an individual's heart look different, it's greyish, bigger and sturdier than normal human hearts, having a metallic feel to it. These hearts beat faster and stronger than human hearts, making individual's blood flow faster and stronger, making these individuals faster and stronger. It also gives individuals a bigger qi pool, allowing them to use techniques that are far more advanced. With the onslaught of demons clawing closer and closer by the day, it is up to whoever humanity can call its saviour to come and defeat the originators, the Princes of Hell- once and forever.
