I.N.S.I.G.H.T focuses on investigating and solving paranormal problems for both avatar and mortal clients. They pride themselves on unity, with the firm being split up into fourteen departments for each entity and the department heads serving as a board of Fears to lead the company. But cracks have been showing for decades...the departments actively despise each other, the office atmosphere broiling with tension. Leadership is not the united front it presents as, with many of the board members being deceptive and self-serving. Avatars outside of I.N.S.I.G.H.T view them as an embarrassing but necessary tool at best and actively hostile to their nature at worst.
