You wake up. You're not quite sure where you are, or who you are. Your body seems frozen in place. You can't move. Your jaw is glued shut; you cant scream for help. As you stand there, awake and aware in your stone body, you can feel it crack and crumble. You stumble forward, released from the stone prison. The shadows move unnaturally, spiraling forwards; reaching towards its newest play thing. It starts with the small things; what you ate the day before, your name, your species, but tou begin to remember. Your memories return to you gradually, who you are, what you did, your motivations, your life, your memories. However, one thing remains clear; you dont know how you got here, and you dont entirely know where "here" is. You cant leave, stuck within the property boundary. Stuck as visitors freely traverse the grounds. But through all of this, one thing is certain. Wherever you are? Its alive, and it wants to control you. Station Orbis is a drifting space station at the edge of the multiverse, a place where rifts drop people from countless worlds with no warning. No one knows who built it or why, but the station provides everything its residents need. Housing, food, safety, and room to breathe. Life here is calm, curious, and full of mixed cultures learning to live together. New sectors sometimes appear on their own, strange messages show up from someone called The Architect, and odd doors open now and then. Even so, Orbis stays peaceful. It is a crossroads for wanderers and a soft landing for anyone who falls between realities. What We Offer: - 25+ adult writing community with a mostly 30+ crowd. - Canon characters encouraged, all muses 21 or older. Drawn refs and faceclaims allowed. - All character types welcome, including robots and inhuman characters within reason. - No powercap, with mutual respect expected. - Two-server setup: one IC, one OOC. - Prose threads, IC group chat, and Tupperbox available for all writing styles. - Fun events and world exploration to keep the community active and connected. - Activity expected IC at least every 5 - 7 days; leniency allowed when writers are kept in the loop. - Simple application process to join the server.
