You might be wondering what Arknights may be. Arknights is a tower-defense gacha game set in a world we call "Terra." Now, Terra isn't exactly a paradise. Far from it. From countless wars to catastrophic disasters called "Catastrophes" forcing the common man into nomadic cities, one may wonder how civilization carried on to this day. Alas that is a tale for another day. With the advent of "Catastrophes", a mysterious ore called Originium sprouted from the damage it has caused. While we were able to harness the power, it came a cast like most things. A disease called "oripathy" has spreaded across due to our use of originium and has caused a great divide among the people. However, all hope is yet to be lost. Follow Rhodes Island as they face the many challenges to find the cure to oripathy. Or perhaps you should join Reunion, a group fighting for the rights of the infected, people who oppressed because they have oripathy. However, what may seem like a noble cause may be just a mere façade that has yet to be revealed. With the retrieval of the 'Doctor' underway, this will mark the beginning of our long story. With many characters available to chose from, apply for them before are taken! If canon characters don't interest you, creating an oc is what you may be looking for! Whether it may be with Rhodes Island or Reunion, we welcome all to join us as we etch our paths. Perhaps the story does not interest you? Not to worry dear audience! Amiya and her squad was designated MIA, RI losing all form of contact with their defacto leader and the rest of the Doctor's retrieval team. Following Amiya's disappearance and the mission being officially declared as a failure, Rhodes Island leadership has gone into a disarray. But all of that is now a chapter in the past. With Kal’tsit’s steady guidance, Rhodes Island has been carefully steered back onto a path of recovery, bolstered by the success of our new operations and the unwavering dedication of its operators. Piece by piece, the organization has begun to rebuild the connections it once lost, proving its resilience and strength in the face of adversity. This was made clear in the aftermath of the attack on Lungmen and the desperate efforts to prevent Chernobog from crashing into the city Reunion, once a formidable threat, has been dismantled, its influence shattered by Rhodes Island’s decisive actions. Yet, even in victory, shadows of uncertainty linger. Amiya and the Doctor remain missing, their whereabouts unknown save for a fleeting sighting at the ruins of Chernobog, where they were seen retrieving Frostnova from the wreckage. Meanwhile, Talulah and Ch’en have vanished without a trace—Talulah fleeing the scene and taking Ch’en with her to an undisclosed location. There must be something brewing in the background. Now, Rhodes Island stands at the precipice of a new era, ready to face the challenges that lie ahead. The road forward is fraught with danger and uncertainty, but it is also ripe with opportunity. This is a call to arms—a chance for you to step into the world of Arknights and carve out your own story. This story is yours to shape with the whole world as your stage.
