[ALTERNATE TIMELINE] Following the Massacre of Gaduare, the unbridled power of the Emperor and his warriors is made absolute in the minds of those upon Terra. The Imperial Truth has been spread across the bulk of Terra, and His symbol of thunder and lightning now looms over every major city on Terra. The Emperor stands upon the steps of the early Imperial Palace, his lightning claw sparking and sword blazing with His might. Assembled in a grand formation before Him, the Emperor's Custodes, Astarte Legions, and many of the Old One Hundred drop to an absolute silence to hear His words, which seem to carry across the wind with an invigorating force. His vision for humanity, and the proclamation of the Great Crusade. The battles to take over the rest of Sol are short, relative to the efforts taken to end the Unification Wars. As the fires of the Age of Strife comes to cool, the galaxy is made fresh and open for new powers to rise up and attempt to claim greatness. Compared to the upcoming struggle for the galaxy, the Unification Wars are naught but a mere stepping stone. Even knowing the trials that will come ahead, the burgeoning Imperium is fresh from its conquest of Sol and ready to claim greatness for humanity. The Sons and Daughters of the Emperor have been scattered, but when reunited their skills and powers will be added to that of the Imperium. Yet, the shadow of Chaos already looms distantly. The ire of the Gods of Chaos have already to grow for the galaxy, and their ambitions rise. Though their voices have thus far carried low and a few stable empires have formed under the headship of Chaos, the Gods have been kept down for far too long, and their desire to spread their will and to dominate one another will only rise. A new era stands before us. How will you help shape it?
