The Multiverse is breaking — and you, my friend, have been caught in the aftermath. At the heart of all realities lies the a nexus. An ancient, enigmatic hub that connects every universe, timeline, and dimension across reality. Once maintained by the gods long since dead or abandoned by followers, the Nexus has fractured, scattering pieces of it across countless worlds. Rifts now tear open unpredictably, pulling people, places, and powers from across the multiverse into one shared space: the Fractured Realm. Your character has awakened in this patchwork realm, one formed from the scraps of other worlds. Here, anything is possible. A cybernetic soldier from a dystopian future may stand beside a medieval mage, while eldritch horrors lurk in the ruins of once-idyllic lands. Characters from popular video games might be found in the physical world, their realms having been, all along, as real as your own life. But, in the midst of this great unity, something darker stirs. This crossworld, made of multiple realities, have brought in beings from all sides of the moral spectrum. Some factions might, coming across one another, attempt to restore the Nexus and get back to their homes. Others wish to conquer the chaos. And some? They just want to survive.
