Horrorscope

The world is wrong. Technology and people and places long since considered dead and abandoned exist alongside their peers, yet no one blinks an eye. It is 2026, yet there are teenagers whom were born in 1982. "The world is wrong", they declare, "No", it answers back, for the world has told them they are wrong. Even throughout the dozens- no, thousands of incidents that border upon and include the supernatural, marring the flow of time with their massacres, the world is somehow right. Even though time is wrong, the world is not. You are. That is what has been fed throughout history, to those who dared survive these incidents, and those who have not, yet still walk the Earth. These tragedies that stain history have only grown in severity as the years pass, and the distance between them has in turn lessened. Those who believe the world is wrong have only grown in number... and the world does not accept rebellion. An attraction has been planted with them, a desire to move, one which seems always to bring them to the center of these tragedies, be it out of fear for enduring yet another, or out of a need to prove their theories, that something truly does haunt the planet upon which they walk, that time is lying and so too is their Earth. This attraction leads them to greater pain, to the hounds of that which corrupts history... but it also brings confirmation: The world is wrong, and it is trying to silence them. But you cannot run nor hide from the world which gave life to you -- Or whatever chooses to mask as it --, thus only one choice remains. To investigate further, to bite at this Entity's bait, and to smash the mirrors that reflect the hate at the heart of this world.
