As Humanity simmers down from one of its most harrowing wars, younger, brighter eyes look onwards to an age of discovery and wealth ahead. In truth, nobody can guess what lies in the years beyond. Modern humanity is a far cry from the one we knew in the early 21st century. Exerting uncontested dominance over the Orion Arm via the ever-expanding United Systems Alliance, modern society has become fast-paced, unforgiving, and abundant in corporate greed. Humans have since advanced leagues beyond their former selves. Cybernetics, genetic enhancement, faster-than-light travel, and starships are just some of the many, many things accomplished by human hands previously thought impossible.
