HOLLOWS began to run rampant, and the appearance FULLBRINGERS skyrocketed—many of which were enlisted by the Quincies for their war or slain by Shinigami for being spiritually aware and human. After ten years of unending conflict, a final battle led to the near total destruction of both factions, leaving all but one of each sides' senior leadership dead. Unable to fight any further, and with the pressing threat of Hollows, a truce was called between each side. One year later and the scars are still ever-present. Shinigami are desperately training their next generation, Quincies continue to recruit any whom can be of use, and Fullbringers desperately defend Karakura from the onslaught of Hollows left unchecked. . . ."
