We are a community primarily centered around education and debate about philosophy, politics, theology, and other academic subjects, but you're free to talk about whatever you want here, as long as you can abide by our server rules and ethos. Our mission statement is to raise the standards for online discourse and cultivate an environment that encourages open-minded and respectful engagement, full of community members who love to learn and share their knowledge with others. We have an extensive library full of documents covering subjects from philosophy to political theory to the arts and sciences, and we also hold fun and educational events from time to time, such as seminars, formal debates, reading groups, watch parties and Q&As with public figures (generally either online content creators or professionals in academia).
