Welcome to the quiet quayside town of Chesterfield, we’re a simple town, with simple needs. Nary an exciting thing goes on, except, perhaps, our yearly potluck in the summer. It’s held on our gorgeous beach, I would watch out, though, on occasion some poor person will get food poisoning, always a sad time. No one’s died of that yet, so I can call us fortunate in that department. Us being the small town we are, celebrate our newcomers with vigour, a part is always the way to go, as Dominique says. So expect a wonderful welcome if you come to stay in our town, even temporarily! Most of our locals also quite like our beach, I’ve met many interesting individuals there. We do have a lovely campsite, I’ve been there quite a few times myself, if you get my meaning? There is a singular pub in this town, most adults coalesce there during the nights, and sometimes, just sometimes, something exciting happens, such as a bar-fight. There are some (fake)rumours here, such as a sacrificial grave, it was so disappointing when I heard that it had been false. I feel I must warn you about gossip, don’t come here if you have secrets you’d rather kept hidden.
